If you were here early, you knew this project as Hypertype. As of today it is Typestrix.
Why a new name
The project outgrew a plain typing test. It now has live multiplayer rooms, a global leaderboard, and a profile that tracks every run, and the new name gives all of that one identity.
What stays the same
The typing test is still free, still works without an account, and still starts the moment you press a key.
What is next
Faster typing, fairer scoring, and more ways to race. Follow this blog for updates as they ship.
Try it yourself
Open the typing test and see the change for yourself.
